Non-residents applying for a Nevada guided hunt must participate in the Restricted Non-Resident Mule Deer Draw (Hunt #1231). This restricted draw offers significantly better odds for rifle hunters compared to the standard nonresident pool.

Master Guide Connection
You must secure a booking with a Nevada-licensed Master Guide before applying. Your outfitter verifies and connects your application to their account.
Advantageous Draw Odds
Lower demand in the guided pool means nonresidents often enjoy better draw odds than residents applying for the same units in the main draw.
Application Deadlines
Squared Bonus Point System
The nonresident guided draw usually closes in early March. If you apply here, you cannot participate in the regular Nevada deer draw that same year.
Nevada’s bonus point squared system favors loyalty. You can also purchase points dedicated to this guided draw to improve future chances.
